ok, now that there are a few more st205 3sgte's going into gt celicas, it seems to be that they are a lot easier swap than the st185, correct me if im wrong, but according to what ive been searching, wiring, the main headache in the swaps, seems to be a breeze, but i havent seen anything involving the st. what i want to know is are there any more of a difference between in swapping that 3s into the gt or st, other than tranny, because i already plan on changing that out? mounts are still usable correct? and mainly wiring, if i plan on keeping ac and all that. if anyone could shed some light on that for me that would be great!

swaping in an st185 or st205 is the same amount of work. the only diffference is that there is a lot less wiring that has to be done with the st205. ive yet to see anyone verify what needs to be rewired, but just from looking at the wiring diagrams, i think all you need to rewire is the COR and fuel pump relay to make it work. with the st185, you can just mail the harness out to a few guys on this site that do wiring, and not really have to worry about it. if u can afford a 205 clip, definetly get that.
read this. it applies to st185 or 205 into an st http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=28825 -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
