What are the handling effects of changing the rear sway bar to something stiffer like the ST? Also, are there any horror stories of the bar being so stiff that they rip off the chassis or break the endlink mounts?
Reason I ask is I'm coming from an MR2 and prefer the handling characteristics of a RWD (even though unattainable in the 6G) and want to get close to that feel. Problem is that the ST sway bars were really stiff and ripped the chassis mount point/endlink mounts at hard turns. TIA. |

A stiffer rear sway bar will cause over steer, but I doubt that it will compare to driving a RWD car. I've heard of no complaints about the Suspension Techniques sway bars being too stiff to break chasis mount points or endlinks.
