So this weekend I decided to tackle the passenger side axle of my 95 st. Well after a long removal process I got the old one out and got the new one in. I bought a seal from Advance Auto, and it just slipped over the axle shaft and seems to cover the hole where the shaft slips into the transmission. The problem that I am having now is there is a very small leak coming from the transmission where the axle goes in.

Any help on what might be causing this would be much appreciated. Let me know if any extra info would be helpful.

you've got to make sure that the seal has seated all the way around it, just like bitter said. Also you need to check the spring thats inside the seal to make sure that its still in there, otherwise that would also casue leaks.
