 Engine revving weird |

Ok so lately my car has been revving weird. Whenim in 3rd-5th and cruising a long at say 2-3k rpms if I hit the gas the rpms jump up to 4-5k as if I had the clutch in, then they drop back down to about 3200 and drive normally. What could be wrong?

keep in mind, the higher stage you go, your sacrificing the longetivity of the clutch. as in, its going to wear out faster. Nothing last as long as oem clutches.
