I bought a 2000 Tacoma yesterday. The first thing I noticed is that it has no cupholders! After a diligent search, I have found that the aftermarket is also void of any good options. As such, I want to make my own.
The middle console has a couple spaces that will fit cans but I will need to create a mold out of fiberglass to make it work. Can anyone that has worked with fiberglass give me some tips? Thanks. are you sure there isnt cupholders? i just looked at the 2000 tacoma brochure and it says all models came with dual cupholders. never been in a tacoma, but in our tundra there are retractable cup holders underneath climate control. they are hidden and you have to pull them out. i bet you have them just havnt found them yet.

In addition to being tough to reach, they are also a poor design and do not work for cans. -------------------- QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this. |
