I need to buy a new jack. My brother and I are going to buy one togeather to split the cost. I need on that will fit under my car and will last. Im looking for an light wight aluminum jack, race style. I looked at the craftsman and there reviews say that it wont last.

Any ideas? Thanks

funny thing about my jack...

My passenger quarter window wouldn't go down all the way. I figured it was off the track. The other day, with the top down, I looked down inside and saw the original jack down there. Aparrently the original owner had just shoved it into the mounting position in the side of the trunk and it acutally made it all the way up over the wheel well!

I know, hijacking the thread here, but needed to tell this story!

I have a $20 2 ton jack from BJ's my wife bought me 4 years ago that still works fine.
