 Engine revving weird |

Ok so lately my car has been revving weird. Whenim in 3rd-5th and cruising a long at say 2-3k rpms if I hit the gas the rpms jump up to 4-5k as if I had the clutch in, then they drop back down to about 3200 and drive normally. What could be wrong?

DONT GO HIGHER THAN STAGE ONE. Unless you modify your flywheel and Crankshaft. I ****ed up the whole lower end of my motor with a Stage 2 clutch. The clamp force is way too high for stock or lightly modified engines. Try Gripforce.com they have cool stuff
