i was thinking of addin a turbo to my ride....but scared that riding turbo with an auto would be overkill.......is this an idea to think about???? or is it not even worthwhile?......

learn to drive stick and do an auto to manual tranny swap. its a lot more fun. and it seems faster than auto. my st is faster than my friends auto corolla which has like 25 more hp. but then again, it also depends on the driver.

You know, a lot of people choose automatic transmissions because they WANT one, not because they don't know how to drive a stick. Most performance vehicles (i.e. supra) are quicker with an automatic, and will hold boost better. |
