Is the difference between a KA24DE and a KA24E great enough to justify holding out for a 240 with one or the other? I'm not looking to do any crazy performance modifactions to either. Any major pros and cons to one or the other? I'm particularily curious to know if the less complex E would have a greater reliablity/longevity... Any help is greatly appreciated smile.gif

ive owned a ka24e and drove a ka24de, honestly, there isn't any difference...infact my ka24e pulled harder then the de i drove, so imho thats it, the head gasket issue doesn't exist in the ks series, really strong built engines...honestly, nissan did an awsome job with the engines(drove and an sr20det, an rb20det, and an rb25det) nissan knows what they are doing...if u can find a s13 for under 2k that isn't modded these day that also isn't wreack or just a shell, get it, any other questions about nissan car or engines in general, pm me, i can tell u anything u want to know
