well since im really looking into getting this swap done fairly soon, ive also kind of developed a concern for braking issues... understandable, since im going to be driving faster, im probably going to want to stop faster as well, but the more and more i think about it... im not really planning on just flooring it alla round town... i mean, so is it really necessary??? i mean, at least for a good while now, i cant be speeding anymore since texas instated the point system, where it counted certain priors from years ago, i have exceeded that point and i cant get into anymore trouble... its just that id be getting to that point a lot faster, so really is the brake upgrade that much of a necessity that i should look into, the most id think is just upgrade the pads, and maybe rotor and calipers later, or maybe discs all the way around, or would you reccomend more?

stock GT brakes work just fine with the swap. probably wouldnt be a bad idea to change to brand new rotors and some nice ceramic pads, if your looking for some better stopping power.
not sure now well the ST would brake since its got drums in the back. most people swap them over to the gt brakes anyway. beyond that, you can look into big brake kits, but those cost a fair bit of money and arent really a must. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
