i was putting my rims on my car last night and i notice a great amount of greaze around the bottom of the strut bolts and i then i notice the 3 -4 inch tear in my CVBOOT i need one fast if any one has one or two tell me?? how much are they oem anyways?

the reason why you want to replace the whole joint is becuase water and dirt can get in there and just eat up the joint over time weakening it. if it breaks when you're driving it can be very very very bad. not only are you stuck where you are, if you're turning when it happens you can spinning off the road.
