- - Backplate with internal brake components for parking brake (drum brake inside walls of rotor) - Parking brake cable from a 6th gen. GT (this component can come from one with ABS, but the rest cannot.) i already got some calipers and rotors for my disc brake conversion. all i need now is the rear backplate and brake cable from a gt. i heard you can just modify the st's cable, but not too sure about that. anyone parting a gt or have these things for sale? am i gonna need anything else? thanks, any info is appreciated. edit: might be willing to buy whole setup and just keep/sell parts i don't need. well yes i know theyre different, but not different enough to justify such a high price, its not like theyre platinum plated or made from stainless steel!
theyre both just a stamped steel plate, one is made for drums and the other is made for disc brakes. ive seen these parts off cars, the differences are minor and the materials are the same. yeesh! what a ripoff. i still think you best bet would be a junkyard. -------------------- |
