Question on alternator plug, PLEASE HELP!! Options

ok my car is just about to get out of the paint shop but I cant bring my car home because the little harness block that plugs into the alternator broke.

basically the plastic on the three wire plug completly shattered into a bunch of little pieces (due to the aging and heat I guess) so now all three wires are seperate.

My question is does anyone either have a junked celica where they can just cut that piece off or if anyone knows the color code for which wire goes on which prong???

We have no celicas here in the junkyards and Im not going to buy the whole engine wiring harness just for that little plug...

any help would be greatly appreciated

if it is true, the alternator plugs are probably the same for the old celicas, camrys, corollas, prizma, trucks, suv's, ect. its a pretty common plug because its a pretty common alternator.

I would bet on that. Try checking the alternaters next to each other to make sure. When I say that, I don't mean physically, I mean part numbers at an auto parts store. If it's the same alternater, it'll be the same plug. The little clip that holds mine in broke. I rigged up a thing to hold it in. If the intire thing can't b found, think about making yourself one out of a piece of hard rubber. You can cut it down with a dremal, and stick the wires in it were they need to go. That would be a last resort, especially if your not comfertable with it. Let me know if you need something like that made.
