So, just before i moved down here i put my car into the shop and got some work done. One of my calipers were seized, so i had it replaced. I also had a set of Russel Fittings DOT stainless steel brakelines on. My pedal was a bit soft at times. Any ways, if any of you want better breaking or just want to be a bit safer, i highly suggest this upgrade. It cost me $85 for the lines cuz i got them at cost, but they go for around $160 CND, and they bolt in like OEM lines, but BIG BIG BIG difference in the way the car drives. I highly recomend this for any one who likes to push their celi or any one who does autocross with their car.

SS brake lines are braided..well as far as flex lines go. They apparently last longer than OEM ones because they arent going to be affected by the weather as harsh as the rubber ones will. As for climate change/winter..shouldnt be a problem because it works exactly like a rubber line. If any thing, it might even be better for the breaks in the winter using them as heat sinks and keeping the brake fluid cooler. But i have friends who run SS flex lines on their car year round, and no big effects.
