So, just before i moved down here i put my car into the shop and got some work done. One of my calipers were seized, so i had it replaced. I also had a set of Russel Fittings DOT stainless steel brakelines on. My pedal was a bit soft at times. Any ways, if any of you want better breaking or just want to be a bit safer, i highly suggest this upgrade. It cost me $85 for the lines cuz i got them at cost, but they go for around $160 CND, and they bolt in like OEM lines, but BIG BIG BIG difference in the way the car drives. I highly recomend this for any one who likes to push their celi or any one who does autocross with their car.

QUOTE(Valo666 @ Sep 26, 2006 - 2:59 PM) i can see if i can get a deal through my old work...but im guessin it would be around $130cnd + shipping. But thats if my old boss says sure. Ill talk to him on the thanks giving weekend. They're cheaper or about the same price at many online retailers. QUOTE(m0dd3d1 @ Sep 26, 2006 - 3:56 PM) If and when you get that part # that'd be awesome; seeing as how the winter is coming soon and it may be coming a bit earlier than expected. Now all i'd need to do is know how to bleed the breaks. I've only ever helped with that when I worked as a ported at a collision center in Beltsville, but never actually saw what needed to be done. If only someone would make a sticky....hmmmm....... -Triscuit I already posted the part number, direct from Russell's website. And you can search for information on how to bleed your brakes...there's plenty of information on here. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...
