tonight i quick ran to the store and when i got back in the garage i notice some heat waves coming out of the hood...i pop it open and i can literally hear coolent in the radiator hose boiling inside...something has to be very wrong...any ideas? I am throwing an error code on the dash..it looks like the chevy symbol with red wavy lines over it.. Its the one right over the battery code..Im sure this has something to do with it. Plus how hot to the touch is my water cooler suppose to be cuz thats also also rather hot. I dont have my sensor hooked up to my watercooler...does that have anything to do with it. .? Thanks guys

Boiling coolant usually means you have air in the system...top it up as much as you can so that there is no air in your coolant circuit...that should solve your boiling problem.
