 Funny engine noise, Any ideas? |

Hey,
Lately I've been getting a funny thumping noise from the engine. it seems to be only when I accelerate or have constant throttle, If I let off the gas, or take it out of gear, it goes away. The noise is coming from somewhere in the engine bay. I can't do it while parked, it only comes when the engine is actually moving the car (simply parked and reving won't make noise). Its not super loud, but its noticable when the radio is off. It seems to be about 2-3x per second, increasing in frequency.as the car speed increases (not the engine rpm). The oil has been recently changed. I tried switching to higher octane fuel (I normally run 87, I tried going to 91 with no luck.) Any ideas for things to check? --------------------  psalm 69 |

Do you feel a litle vibration as well?
My car does that too. Check the motor mounts. Mines was rubbing on something. |
