tonight i quick ran to the store and when i got back in the garage i notice some heat waves coming out of the hood...i pop it open and i can literally hear coolent in the radiator hose boiling inside...something has to be very wrong...any ideas? I am throwing an error code on the dash..it looks like the chevy symbol with red wavy lines over it.. Its the one right over the battery code..Im sure this has something to do with it. Plus how hot to the touch is my water cooler suppose to be cuz thats also also rather hot. I dont have my sensor hooked up to my watercooler...does that have anything to do with it. .? Thanks guys

Ryan

I have this problem all the time. With my gt4 vent it actually comes flying thru the vent onto my windshield. I just pour some water in there and call it good. Hasnt caused any overheating of my car. Plus i always have seen airwaves from the GT4 hood.

Since ur car is turbo'd you may have more to worry about but mines been doing this for a few months now and other than causing a mess and smelling it hasnt really done much.

Granted I am getting a engine rebuild in the next few months.
