the other day someone hit my door and i removed the skin to pop the dents out... needless to say im lazy and didnt get the skin back on before it rained. my window and sunroof were open and a few things got wet. i went to roll up my passenger window and it wouldnt work.
motor is still good - i rolled it up off the cig lighter circuit. cant get either passenger switch to work checked all the fuses i could think of - none blown. driver side window works fine. so my guess... switch is bad - seriously doubt this some fuse i cant find is bad there is some relay i dont know about that is bad or some wire burnt itself out already took the switch apart and it looks fine. hoping its a fuse or relay im missing any ideas would be welcome - my next step is to test some voltage read outs, but am in need of a pinout for the passenger window switch plug.. has 5 wires on it. |

well i used those power window bgb pages and got some testing done... turns out it was the switch. i ended up jumping terminals 1 to 2 and 3 to 5 and got the driver side able to control the passenger side. sooo if anyone has an extra passenger side window switch id be more than happy to buy it.
it doesnt matter if it looks bad, i can just switch out the internals. any working switch would do thanks for all the help |
