mechanix gloves are good and offer alot of different types of gloves, but being an aircraft and auto mechanic I can see some places for improvement.
1. Chemical resistant.... I'm always soaking my gloves in hydraulic fluid or jp5 (jet fuel) and then I can't use them until they get washed because you can't let your hands soak in fuel.
2. more durable but thinner padding.... fighter jets are very tightly packed and I'm always getting my gloved hands stuck, but if I take off my gloves my hands will get cut up badly!
3. better finger tip material... alot of times I work blind with my arm shoved shoulder deep in the jet so I have to feel the small peices in my hands. So something durable so they don't wearout quickly like gloves now, yet very thin so it feels like my finger tips are touching the work.
Hope this helps... Let me know if you come up with something.
David
