From my experience, it seems apparent that KYB strut mounts are thicker than Toyota's. One Kyb's even out with the top center nut while Toyotas have extra thread on top. Second I measure one side versus the other side which had a toyota one and the difference in height is .25. Now that took away that much from my drop, making it that much higher. As possible advice based on my experience, it is best to get OEM strut mounts. Now at first I thought maybe I had to drive it around a bit. Then again, I wondered why is the Toyota side the correct height without even driving it yet. So thats my word of advice. Anyone can say otherwise?

when i did my struts + springs several years ago, i used moog rear strut mounts.
they were absolute JUNK.
horrible clunking within a few weeks of installing them, and let me tell ya, when i say HORRIBLE, i mean it.
ask art (lagos) or dustin (batman722) about how my car sounded with those mounts..lol it was aweful to ride in.
i bought OEM rear mounts (they came with new boots attached) and dustin and i installed them.
made a HUGE diffrence.
no more clunking.
woot.
+1 for oem mounts.
