i have been reading post that people are using 3sgte rod instead of buying aftermarket rods i was just wondering how much it cost people to buy 3sgte rod and having the 5s crank machined and harden and why people choose that route vs buying aftermarket , was it purely just the cost or is there other reasons as well

ive seen an mr2 with 750whp with stock rods. not sure how long it lasted but thats alottta power.
