Turbo question, i run a pretty stock 96 celica ST so this isn't for me but a general question for a friend that just got himself an Evo (damn its nice). Anyways, with a new greddy type rs blowoff valve installed, what else must be installed to get that "whoosh" sound everyone is so fond of? I hear it needs an open element style air filter? However it looks that the Evo has a cold air intake stock, so is this referring to the turbo intake? I think this question is pretty general for all types of cars but if i'm wrong please let me know. Just what does he need to get the "whoosh"?
