The other day I was driving up a big looong hill, and decided it give er a bit. I was boosting around 10-11 that night, got up to about 5500-6000 rpm and then she TOTALLY bogged down. It felt like someone slammed on the brakes. This is the first time its done this. I have a hks fcd installed. is there any way to "test" it to see if it working properly?
I also noticed my EGT's were high (1400+) and as soon as I let up they started to drop back down. Any input? This post has been edited by 6gsillyca: Oct 15, 2006 - 9:06 PM |

QUOTE(6gsillyca @ Oct 16, 2006 - 2:18 PM) Will try and get to a parts store today and see if they can check for codes. Intercooler is from an isuzu diesel i believe. Why would a car lean out so much all of a sudden though? If it did then there would be something wrong with fuel delivery system (injectors, rail, pump etc) Otherwise it shouldnt happen. Boost was set to around 10 but had creeped up to 13 a few times previously that night. you can check your own codes. you dont need a parts store or a mechanic. http://celicatech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10155 post some pics of your intercooler setup . it sounds small. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
