Dynamat is a mass loader and a bit of a blocker(foil). It is useful for large flat panels and the best bang for buck is ear level panels.
Examples would be, doors, rear quarter panels. Using Dynamat on the floor is expensive and gives very little benefit since mass loading the floor panels doesnt do much. Floors are already convoluted therefore it wouldnt vibrate much. Only the thin aluminium is doing its job as a blocker. For a cheaper solution, try sticking rubber mat beneath the interior carpet. |
