do you think this is possible, custom OEM extensions Options

Ok,im planning to buy OEM sideskirts with some extensions but the SIII and OEM extensions are not what i really want. I want something similar to OEM extensions but without the extra part that goes over the bumper/fender. I did some rough shops just to give you an idea (sorry Tufy and JDog for using your car)

im sure it would look really good but my question to those who have OEM extensions:

Do you think it is physically possible to cut the extra parts and mount them on the car (in other words: are the parts going over the bumper/fender really needed or they are needed because else it would not hold on the car?) Im thinking of just cutting those extra parts..

what do you think?

I have them and it seema like you would need them to make it stable. If you do it like that it will probably flop around and then get ripped off.


If you don't like the way it goes over the bumper just have them molded on. Although you will not be able to remove the bumpers after that.
