Ok,im planning to buy OEM sideskirts with some extensions but the SIII and OEM extensions are not what i really want. I want something similar to OEM extensions but without the extra part that goes over the bumper/fender. I did some rough shops just to give you an idea (sorry Tufy and JDog for using your car)
imagine the grey part only is the extension ![]() imagine the pink part removed ![]() im sure it would look really good but my question to those who have OEM extensions: Do you think it is physically possible to cut the extra parts and mount them on the car (in other words: are the parts going over the bumper/fender really needed or they are needed because else it would not hold on the car?) Im thinking of just cutting those extra parts.. what do you think? |

After just looking at front and rear extension I must say that the parts that go over bumpers are mainly to give the shape, not to mount. Extensions basically hold on the edge of those parts, if cut - one would have to change the shape of lower part for it to touch the bumper for mounting.
