 Vehicle Storage for a long period of time..., Any specific preventative maintenance? |

So here's the background story:
I just got my job i've been waiting for about 2 years. I may be shipped overseas for 6 months subbing in for another empolyee (that means I get to go to the UK...again!!). And here's the question: I'll be there for roughly 6 months and i'll need to toss my crap in storage, including my car. Now, does anyone know of anything I can do or anything i'll need to do in reference to storing a car for a long period of time in a garage/ storage unit? Does anyone have anything like a horror story or what to look out for? I'm new to this storage unit thing so any help is much appreciated! yes, add fuel stabilizer and then drive for about 30-50 min at highway speeds to get it all hot and the stabilizer throughout the system.

What is it's purpose? Why would I not just be able to leave it the way it is? ...And you put it into your gas tank?
