 paint, what to look for |

i just got a bumper painted yesterday from a guy's friend on a local forum. i had read a lot of good things about his friend's work so i decided to try him (re-painting a messed up bumper)
because the guy was doing it on the side, he couldn't really disclose where he worked... so i can't just drop by to look. how do you tell the difference between a paintjob that uses 3 separate sprays of primer/paint/clear vs those mixed all in one ones? how many days should i wait to check for things like orange peel/spiderwebbing and stuff? how else do you check for the quality of the paintjob? he's done a lot of work for members on that forum but they were all recently done so i have no idea of the long term quality.. so i just wanted to make sure he does gd work before i bring my celi to him thnx -------------------- |
