 tranny problem, need input |

i have a 94 gt 5spd. when im driving along in 4th gear and down shift to 3rd it makes a slight grind when i downshift not a bad one where i cant get it in but just a little bit of a sound what do u guys think

My car does the same thing. I was told by a transmission shop that most likely the synchros are getting worn and they're a pain to replace. Only other option is to take it somewhere to have it rebuilt or get a new tranny.
