 time for a new bov?, is it a leak? |

whats up fellas, i wanted a general consensus of the sound im getting from my bov. ive always wanted to know why I would hear air escaping, and once im in boost it would stop, then woosh out once i let off the gas. i went to a local shop and they told me i had a boost leak out of the BOV and sure enough there was a constant flow of air coming out of the bov (even when idling) the flow increases with acceleration.
this obviously means 1. stock BOV isnt holding the boost 2. need a new one? any suggestions guys? i will hopefully be finding out for sure if its a leak once i get my gauges installed. --------------------  QUOTE (Galcobar @ Oct 15, 2008 - 2:44 AM)  You want power but have no money. yeah, im thinking its def coming from the bov. gotta test vac leaks and such. now my rpm gauge is going up and down when i go into neutral.
