On my way home last night from the mushroomhead concert my check engine light came on. I pulled off the road, checked the oil and checked for any apparent damage to the engine and nothing was wrong. I drove home. This morning i got up and did the check engine thing with the paperclip (thanks how-to articles!) and found out I have error code 27, which just so happens to be the same code that was used in the article.. 2nd O2 Sensor is bad. My problem is I dont have a second o2 sensor anymore, becuase i never hooked it up when i got my headers. Is there a way to reprogram the ecu?
thanks guys -------------------- ![]() |

All of this is going to come down to emissions. I hope you kept your stock manifold and setup. One other option is to get a catalytic converter that can handle a V-8. Because you are in SoCal you should do that before going to the antifoul trick unless you know someone at a shop. Also install the O2 sensor after the Cat.
