Just got home from work and noticed that the wife has put a box on the dining room table!!!!! So of course, I tear into it and sure enough, it's the pod!!!

Here's my thoughts: The black is flat and semi-rough, matches the interior/dash pretty well. The design is incredible, it almost exactly matches the curvature of the dash and surround making for an extremely wonderful fit. No seams, no blemishes, nada. This is a VERY high quality piece. The clock and buttons are fully visible also, making for an unintrusive installation.

Installation of the gauges from the Lotek triple pillar to the DCW center mount will be this weekend.

If you guys want pics I can take them but we all know what it looks like.

Some installation notes smile.gif

Firts ofcorse - run all the wiring through the center piece of dash (on the top of the center piece). Make sure they are accesible once you going to put the pod on the dash. Dont fix the plastic (center piece) fully, leave it in the place but make sure there is a gap on top (between the center plastic and dash, in this gap wires should go)

After this - put all the gauges in the pod, fix them.

Then you gonna install it - Use Double side tape to fix it on the dash. Make sure to clean the dash with some sort of Anti-fat alcohol or somthing. Then do the same with the pod underside. Put the double side tape on the pod inner side near the edge as much as posible everythere there the pod touches the dash. Then i would suggest to use a hairdryer to heat up whole pod a bit (DO NOT USE normal heat gun cuz you might damage the pod by overheating it) Hairdryer will do just fine - heat up the pod it will get a little bit softer so it will be easyer to fix it on the dash + it will get the shape of the dash while its soft smile.gif

Post all the pics after install and while you will be installing it smile.gif
