- - Backplate with internal brake components for parking brake (drum brake inside walls of rotor) - Parking brake cable from a 6th gen. GT (this component can come from one with ABS, but the rest cannot.) i already got some calipers and rotors for my disc brake conversion. all i need now is the rear backplate and brake cable from a gt. i heard you can just modify the st's cable, but not too sure about that. anyone parting a gt or have these things for sale? am i gonna need anything else? thanks, any info is appreciated. edit: might be willing to buy whole setup and just keep/sell parts i don't need. I don't see why there would be any problem, the ABS system controls the calipers. I believe the knuckles are universal in design, its just that the ABS variations have holes drilled into the for the sensors. I know there is a difference between abs and non abs axles.
If anything would be different between the abs and non abs on the rear I would assume it would be the hub. I say try it out, you don't necessarily need a parking brake in most situations. This post has been edited by neKronos: Nov 2, 2006 - 2:23 PM |
