So, as the title says, im thinkin maybe we should have a mid winter/winter 6gc and skiing/snowboarding meet. Figure out where we should go, do it for a weekend, like meet up on a Friday or Thursday afternoon, go skiing for the friday (maybe), saturday, and sunday depending on where we go. We can figure out where we r gonna meet up, where we r gonna go skiing, etc. I brought all my ski stuff down to the college on friday since im not gonna b driving back to Toronto untill like after January. So its all sittin in my room and im ichin to get out on the hills.

how tempting is that???

Any ways, so any one else wanna get together and hit the slopes??

OK, so i went to one of the guys at the local/one of the 2 ski/snowboard shops in Windsor. And he said the best place(s) to ski in Michigan/this area of the country is Boyne Mountain and Boyne Highlands (sisterclubs). They are about 4 hours north of Detroit in Upper Michigan. But apparently are rediculusly good hills. How does that sound to any one??..Its $43 for 9-9 from Wensday-Friday and then $51 for 9-9 on Saturdays and $51 9-4 on sundays. So maybe we do a Thursday-Sunday trip?? Get to the resort Thursday, stay friday, saturday, sunday then go home?? Sound good??

EDIT: Also, if your interested in going there more than once, and your a college/university student, they have a College Student Season Pass. Its $249 and its unlimited skiing at both resorts. And if you think about it..3 days skiing is like $60 cheaper than the season pass.
