QUOTE(hitcachi @ Nov 8, 2006 - 11:16 AM) Oh and LS2? BAh, LS7 FTW! Its the difference between $5400 for a LS2 Crate motor and $13,500 for a LS7 (last time I checked three months ago). The LS2 will have greater aftermarket support. Further, 400 hp stock is enough power anyway in a S2000. This will be my daily (summer) driver. My goal is a car that looks completely stock (except for wheels), retains the handling of the S2000, and has real TORQUE. -------------------- QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this. |

The new 6.2L L92 motor has phenomenal heads that are ever so slightly detuned LS7 heads, but retail for $700 a set fully set up. Add in a L76 intake manifold (the car version, truck version won't work in cars due to size) for $450 that includes fuel rails, injectors, and a TB, and a cam of choice. Hello 450-500 HP AT THE WHEELS in a completely driveable setup. Oh yeah, on the original topic, that S2K..........I'd hit it without blinking an eye.
