I currently have a apex'i short ram intake on my celica. I know some filters are cleanable (k&n, wash and reuse). How can I tell the reuseable ones from the ones you throw away when they get dirty.
Also, ive read that there is some sort of "filter oil" that you use on the k&n reuseables. What is this oil/what does it do? |

QUOTE(pure_dx @ Nov 9, 2006 - 1:09 AM) if you buy a filter cleaning kit, it should have the instructions for you already. If not, its pretty simple. This is how i did mine, sprayed with product from kit, let sit for 15 minutes, wash under warm water, let dry, and put the oil that came with the kit on very lighty. Then let dry 30 mins, and its good to go! You might want to switch to cold water. Cotton + warm water is bad. |
