To insinuate that ExSane was attempting to somehow belittle all Canadians by this post is ignorant. It was just to ask if it really happens, as the article suggested. To search it on the internet would do little, because you will find false information on both sides of the story. So, what better way to get the information he was seeking, then to ask someone from Canada on this board?

alright, we'll you're insecure because you feel the need to prove yourself and a ignorantly named thread title to people. Who cares? Fact of the matter is that he alluded to the fact that seal hunting is a sport in Canada. That's right in the title. It's not a sport. Check Canadian legislation if you want to find out if it's legal, don't go asking people on a board with all of 4 or 5 active Canadian members on it.

I don't care to debate this anymore, if you guys want to defend him that's fine, I really don't care, fact of the matter is that there are far better ways of approaching this, it's in Canadian law, so why argue about it? It's not a sport so why allude to it that way?
