I'm so glad 6th gens have their own place on the net! great site, first time here. I love my 6th gen. I've had it about 3 1/2 years bought it with 74k and now almost 140k! Still runs great. I've had some bad experiences with my car lately. (crack heads stole my 1000w amp. mad.gif ) and a short run in with some dreanged kid that decides to jump out in the middle of the street and threw a rock at my car. b@stard little kids.) I kinda got pissed at the world and gave up for a while. I'm thinking about waiting it out till i can afford a temp car before i do any major mods to my baby. ANyway...

My rotors are getting a little worn down. And i got way to lazy a few months back and waited to late to change my brake pads. So now i have a rut in my front right rotor. It's not big, but i do notice a slight give on fast slow downs. I saw that kvr slotted are listed but no price. Does anyone have any price estimates or maybe other options?

Thanks for the info... I'm definatly considering the i-rotor's now. 129$ for just the front. That's not a bad deal.

Seems to be a easy install. Would anyone know where to get a set of decent front brake pads at a decent price. I think they're about 60-70 bux for a set at my local shop. Any other suggestions? Would stock brake pads work with new slotted discs?

go to trdracing.com click on trd parts then on the right select the category "disc brake pads" The internet special is $49.15 Its for 1 set (2 pads) It's says that it fit 94 -97 celicas but I emailed them before I got mine and they said that they will fit the 98 and 99 models too. They just came out in 97 so that's why they say that. They work great on my car. I have the kvr rotors.
