um.. i just had a question...
so if u're collecting parts for a diy turbo kit.. but you don't have everything to put it together yet... how do you test a used turbo to make sure it's in good shape and runs? like.. u can check for shaft play... but not sure what else.... just that some people have like a startup warranty or a 30-90day warranty... or there's just really no way? since i somehow doubt any shop has the resources lying around to just bolt it up and fire it up for a test run -------------------- |

ok... i guess that was kinda stupid wondering if such a heavy wheel spins as easily as a paper thin plasic wheel...
eh.. i hope it's ok... i just bought a ct20b... i didn't notice any shaftplay when wiggling it... and the wheels seemed to spin fine when turning it. any proper way to store this? it's just in a box in my garage right now... seller said to check and keep the bearings lubed with engine oil? -------------------- |
