So what's everyone else doing this Thursday? Does anyone have to work? I don't have to work *whew*

This is the first year I'll have NO family to spend Thanksgiving with. kindasad.gif My parents & brother live in AZ & all my relatives live in Cali. My sister lives here but she is going w/ her husband to visit his family for Thanksgiving. Luckily my friend said I could spend it w/ her & her kids. She really doesn't have any family either...so I guess we can be each others family! If it wasn't for her I'd be spending thanksgiving alone! smile.gif

Since i live out in the middle of the country...and all my family lives out here too, we have the ultimate Redeck thanksgiving.

About 30 of us gather at my grandma's little ranch and there's the ultimate country feast. lol. mashed potatoes (or mashed a'taters as my grandma says it) ham, turkey, rolls, corn, cornbread, chicken, macaroni and cheese, dressing, etc.

Its pretty funny. Grandpa and uncles are usually arguing...place is covered in cigar smoke, people are out back shooting guns.

Oh yeah, last year...my 80 year old aunt got mad because she was told what time it all started wrong, and stormed off in her buick through the yard and tore down my grandpa's mole trap. He was really pissed.

Gotta love my redneck family. lol.
