3s-gte swap- Are Japan and USA ewd different???? Options

Hey all,

Im nearing the end of my 2nd generation turbo swap on my 95 celica gt manual. Im noticing that a bunch of pinouts on IG1 and IG2 near ECM are wrong. Either wrong color, connector, or wrong pinout. Mostly on the speed sensor connector. The ewd for 1991 celica shows a triangular connector for the speed sensor. The actual connector is a direct plug in to my gt. Which is conveniant. Ive worked through the confusion now, just wanted to know if anyone else has come across this issue? Also wanted to warn anyone who is in the middle of a swap. With some more hope and dedication this beast should be on the road SOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i noticed a few different diagrams call the plugs different names and stuff like that, but over all, they were mostly the same. a few changes were done in each year, so its good to make sure you have the correct diagram for the year of your 3s and your celica.

I may have been told the wrong year. But I doubt it. It all worked out in the end. I double checked everything by tracing everything to the engine harness then to its source with an ohm meter. So hopefully I did everything right. All I have left to do is extend the harness on the junction block side. Also I need to find an a/c (IM1) connector at a junk yard. Then it'll all be 100% plug-n-play. Then drop it in! I cant wait!!!!!!!!
