Ive tried to clear my code 54 like it says in the sticky by jumping the coolant level sensor but after i turn the car back on the light is still on. Do i have to reset the ecu? or should i be jumping it with a resistor?

btw i also didnt have the relay for the pump and as such had to wire it in. the three wires going back to the ecu are all fed back in and looking at the ewd the way i have it wired shouldnt affect anything.

any ideas?

First off, you're not supposed to be jumping the coolant temp sensor. You're supposed to be jumping the water level sensor of the IC core.

After that you need to either have the pump wired in EXACTLY like it was in the ST205 or you need to make this simple circuit:

opps i meant level my bad its fixed thanks

i looked at the link and it looks like thats what i would do if i had my relay box for the pump there. but i dont.

i looked at the ewd and it showing the ground going back to a ground. the positive going to a relay which i have just hooked up to a positive side of the efi relay.

the other three wires are diffrent colors then that in the link however on the ewd i have fed them back to the ecu plug just as the diagram shows.
