I'm putting a new head gasket on the Celica and I'm wondering if anyone has any info specific for this motor, or otherwise, that they'd like to share. I'll try to make a how-to out of this project if I can.

not that i know of.
make sure the 2 mating surfaces are CLEAN, like REALLY clean. in most cases they tell you to have the block and head decked when switching over to a metal gasket. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)

I can't pull the block to have it decked. I would if I was rebuilding the motor, but I can't. I'll make sure it's clean though. -------------------- Live Free, Be Happy
