Hi all. Im a newbie and sorry of this has been covered. Ive got a 94 st that Id like to put a 5 speed in. I have access to a 93 with a 5 speed and wonder if the pedals, shifter, flywheel, ect would work? If theres a link I missed fill me in! Thanks! Justin

Also would it matter if the 5th gen was a gt or not?

Thanks. So if the tranny is a st on the 5th gen it will work but the rest is just a maybe? If I was to convert everything (engine, ect) to a gt on my 6th from a gt 5th would it work?

If you really want to swap a 5sfe for your 7afe, that's alright. I think the mounts are a little screwy, you'll have to do something weird there. I can't remember which it was. But if you're willing to swap it out, you shouldn't have any problem finding what else needs done. You've got to know what you're doing to have confidence enough to swap. It would help the issues with pedals and shifter assimbly. Only way to figure out if it will work is to try it.
