Hey guys i blew a hole in my exhaust. The part i need can only be bought directly from Toyota. Really don't want to do that. I need the part of exhaust that bolts from the Cat converter and bolts right before the resinator. I'll try to find an example.
Here is a picture. The picture circled, on the left side that bolts to my cat converter. and the right side bolts to my resinator. Anyone have this that i can take off their hands? ![]() This post has been edited by celiracer: Nov 24, 2006 - 7:13 PM -------------------- ![]() |

thats a midpipe , you can tell by the flange, clearly not a downpipe because downpipes go down, that one is mostly going flat/straight.
at any rate your local exhaust shop usually will have a mandrel bender + a computer, they input what part for what car they need and the machine bends the pipe accordingly, our local meineke has one, so id try yours. This post has been edited by brianforster: Nov 27, 2006 - 10:17 PM |

Damn...How do ya blow a hole in a steel exhaust pipe? When i went to the exhaust shop...The cut my cat off an used the flanges to make a new extended pipe because my headers werent long enough..get that cat checked or cut..could be clogged.

QUOTE(InfamousChappy @ Nov 27, 2006 - 11:59 PM) Damn...How do ya blow a hole in a steel exhaust pipe? When i went to the exhaust shop...The cut my cat off an used the flanges to make a new extended pipe because my headers werent long enough..get that cat checked or cut..could be clogged. its not the actual steel pipe if you take a look at the picture i am showing There is a braided part on the exhaust. The braided part on one side blew open. And i was wanting to find someone on here to sell me theirs but they are asking 100 shipped. So i guess i'd rather just buy it from the dealer at my dads cost. I can get it from them for $60 shipped. And people on here are wanting me to buy their used ones for $100 shipped. so nevermind guys. -------------------- ![]() |
