 Alpine Type R'......Or Alpine Type X' ??? |

okay so i cnat decide if i should buy
two 12' Type R' woofers...... or one 12' type X' http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_4281.html or http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_2444.html im leaning towards the type R. and i will be runnign these on my sony amp that has 1200 watts max power....... and waht type of a box would you guys reccomend? ported? sealed? help will be appreciated

if u plan to upgrade the amp sometime id go with the type x. but with your current amp theres no way u could power the type x.and the sub will probably distort when you try to turn it up. I like ported boxes.
