Does anybody know how much boost the 5sfe can take. Im am seriously thinking about getting turbo on my car and i dont want to blow it up. How much would be a same daily running. My car has almost 100k on it. would it be wise to put on a turbo without a overhaul on my engine. I dont want to get rid of my engine for a 3sgte, I want to keep my gt a gt. It is a sentimental thing. I just couldnt part with my 5sfe.
 also i have an automatic, will it be able to handle the extra boost?

from what i've heard, boost is not too friendly to the 5sfe... it's just not meant to handle all the pressure... a lot of internals would have to be changed and i don't think it would be highly recommended without alot of work done to the engine
but i'm still a n00b when it comes to this sort of thing... you can try searching this forum for other mention of this performance add-on... i'm sure i've heard mention of it before  i'm just telling you what i've heard/remember
