these are the tools you need to shim the oil pump
![]() 1st i took of my oil pan then took out the clip thats holds the spring in place ![]() it take no time realy ![]() I put it back together in the order you see ![]() oh I cleaned the oil pan when it was down.. im thinking of doing this so i can provide sufficient oil lubrication at high rpms like 8500. but before i do, how much of a pressure difference did you notice?

It's good toyota makes a really damn good motor that can take a lot of user intential abuse. I don't mean the 8500rpm either. -------------------- 87 4runner DLX 22re, 5spd, 4.30gr, 4" lift, 30" tires, HID w/ Projectors, 6spkr + sub, custom exhaust, 94 celica leather seats, SR5 gauge cluster and clinometer. Future engine swap... possibly a 2jzge.
