well so far since i have had my car for 2 years, it has changed many phases,
i mean to say i've been through a few different styles off wheels, what do u chaps think, which look the nicest. started with original mr T wheels that came on the car... 16"x7.5"  then i got these. Antera's 17"x8"  then i changed to these. Wheelmania Razor's 18"x8"  my current day to day wheels. Rs-GT's 18"x8"  i have just aquired these.. The Volks by far and leave them alone. Do not repaint them. I got a set with the 1st Gen MR2 I just got and I wish like hell they were 16"s, the right lug pattern and I could put them on my Celica. I say sell all the other rims and get another identical set of Volks and then you will have the ability to try out different tires under different conditions and still look clean as hell.
